Shepherd’s Pie, above, will play a mix of popular dance songs from the 1960s through today at the “Warm Hearts, Warm Homes” dance Friday, Feb. 3, at the University of Maine at Farmington. Also performing will be the Mount Blue Voice a cappella ensemble and improv-comedy troupe Teacher’s Lounge Mafia. The goal is to help replenish the area’s primary fuel oil assistance fund. Close to $5,000 has already been raised from advance ticket sales and contributions from individuals and organizations. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Hollywood star. The dance will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the north Dining Hall on the university campus. Tickets are $10, with a limited number of $25 VIP tickets. Tickets are available at Devaney, Doak and Garrett Booksellers, the Calico Patch and at the door.
