Pomona meeting
WALES — Androscoggin Pomona No. 1 will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Wales Grange 40 on Centre Road for a regular meeting. The program will be family health and hearing. A 50/50 raffle will be held along with the attendance drawing. There will be a 6:30 p.m. supper for $5 and a 7:30 p.m. meeting.
Donations sought
TURNER — The Leavitt Area High School Concerned Parents and Community Members will sponsor the 31st annual Project Graduation for the Class of 2012.
This supervised chemical-free event has proven to reduce teenage fatalities on graduation night.
The largest fundraiser for Project Graduation is an annual auction to be held on March 24. To donate items or gift certificates, contact Debbie Hite at 524-2009. Donations can be picked up.

Cribbage results
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Jan. 26 were: first place, Steve Agurkis and Bob Cielinski; second place, Shirley Labonte and Mike Martin; third place, Leo Muise and Bill Mickalide; fourth place, Edith Chambers and Don Maillette; fifth place, Anna Faucher and Sandi Smith.

Relay kickoff
LEWISTON — On Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m., the Relay For Life of Androscoggin County will hold their annual kickoff and informational meeting at Kaplan University in Room 5.

DAR meeting
LEWISTON — Mary Dillingham Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Marco’s Restaurant, Mollison Way. Guest speaker will be Brigadier General McCormack of the Maine National Guard.
All women over the age of 18, with a direct blood line to a Revolutionary War Patriot or someone who gave aid to the cause is eligible to join.

Memoirs lunch
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing at Central Maine Medical Center will offer a free lunch and learn for cancer survivors, family members and friends. “Turning Memories into Memoirs” will take place Monday, Feb. 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at CMMC, 12 High St., Conference Room D.
Author Denis Ledoux will show how to overcome a reluctance to write and the basics of writing a memoir including techniques for remembering yours and your loved one’s life stories. A light lunch will be provided.
