LEWISTON — Linda L. Dubuc, 64, of Strong, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1947, in Skowhegan, the daughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle Philbrick Dickinson. She was married Jan. 30, 1971, to Rick Dubuc.
She was an active member of Mt. View Bible Church, spending many years as a teacher and as a Sunday school teacher. Linda was loved by all who knew her and she was held in the highest regard by her family. She enjoyed her time with her family and friends. She was an avid hiker, gardener and birdwatcher. Ever the learner and explorer, she had just started learning to play the guitar.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Rick Dubuc of Strong; three sons, Keith of Manchester, N.H., Glenn of Oakland, and Pete and wife, Sarah Brown, of South Portland; one granddaughter, Brittany; two grandsons, Bowen and Noah; one brother, Charlie Dickinson of Norridgewock; three sisters, Rita Fisher of Skowhegan, Joyce Smith of Manassas, Va., and Connie Lowe of Norridgewock.
