LIVERMORE FALLS – The names of those interested in being appointed to a vacant seat on the RSU 73 board will be given to selectmen, to Town Manager Kristal Flagg said Monday.
Director Ann Souther’s resignation was accepted Thursday. The Livermore Falls resident served on the RSU 36 board and was elected in April to the board of the new consolidated school system. Her term expires in June.
Flagg said she will pass on the name or names of residents interested to selectmen. The board will take up an appointment at its meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the town office.
Nomination papers for the three-year term, which begins July 1, will be available Friday, March 16, at the town office. The papers are due back Friday, April 27.
