Healthy homes
RUMFORD — Healthy Homes Training will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29.
Many people live in homes that put them and their family at risk of sickness and injures. Health hazards in the home include lead paint, pesticides, structural damage, cigarette smoke, mold and noise. Those who visit clients in their homes will want to attend the training to learn more about home health hazards and the local resources that can help clients identify and address health hazards in their homes.
Participants will learn the seven qualities of a healthy home; hazards in the home that can cause health problems; populations at risk for home health problems; and resources to help identify and address home health hazards.
For more information and to register contact the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition at 364-7408 or email rvhcc@gwi.net.
