PARIS — The Oxford Hills Technical School Skills Challenge 2012 will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19.

Residents are being invited to the school, which is within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School complex, to watch the Technical School students compete in 19 technical areas.

The areas include: advanced communications (filmmaking), allied health, auto collision repair, auto technology, building construction technology, business studies, computer technology, cooperative education, culinary arts, diversified occupations, early childhood education and engineering and architectural design.

Students will also compete in fashion design, graphic design, graphic printing technology, forestry, law enforcement, marketing and pre-engineering.

Dinner will be sold to raise funds to send the winners to the SkillsUSA competition held in Bangor in March.
