AUBURN — The next meeting of the First Auburn Seniors will be the annual Christmas banquet at Martindale. The doors will open at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, and Sandy Nesbit will entertain with a musical program.

The last meeting on Dec. 7 was attended by 43 members. Attendance winners were Leane Ford and June Bowman. Pot of gold winners were Roger Briggs, Annette Lee and Nancy Roy. Special drawings were won by Mary Tassineri, Norma Goddard and Donna Harris. Each year member Joan Webb provides two holiday baskets for raffle. This year’s winners were Letha Haggerty and Annie Demers.

It was voted by the membership in the spring to suspend meetings during the months of January and February. The next regular meeting will be at the Hasty Community Center on March 7. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. and the regular meeting will convene at 11 a.m., presided over by president Don Nason.
