LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced that road construction has finally ceased, at least for the winter. Sidewalks are in place and the parking area is once again accessible.

Story time at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays continues in the auditorium. The Dec. 28 story time, during school vacation, will be for all ages.

Thursday, Dec. 22, at 5:30 p.m. will be an evening of Jan Brett stories and crafts. This is a winter holidays celebration.

The knit/crochet group will not meet in December. The next meeting will be in January.

The library will be closed Saturdays, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, due to the Sunday holidays of Christmas and New Year’s.

For winter storm closings, check TV stations 6, 8 and 13, as well as Facebook. When in doubt, call the library at 897-3631 before leaving home. If the answering machine is on during hours the library is usually open, it means they had to close.

For a list of new items, visit the online catalog at treat.biblionix.com/atoz/catalog/ and click on “See what’s hot.” There are new DVDs, books on CD, magazines and more.
