Christmas cantata
BRYANT POND — A Christmas cantata, “The Great Christmas Give Away,” by the Forestdale Christian School will be performed at 6:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, and at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Woodstock SDA Church.
Concert, potluck
NORWAY — A Christmas concert and potluck meal will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, at Norway Church of the Nazarene, 10 Grove St. The meal will start at 5 p.m. Concert with “Stone Faith” will start at 6.

‘The Man Jesus’
HARTFORD — Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St., will present “The Man Jesus” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18.

Caroling, open house
WATERFORD — The traditional Waterford Library holiday community gathering will take place on Sunday, Dec. 18. The celebration will begin at 4 p.m. on the Waterford Common with candle-lit caroling.
Following the caroling everyone is invited to the library for refreshments and a chance to enjoy the company of neighbors and friends as well as a selection of seasonal music performed by Backroom Brass, a group featuring Waterford resident Brian Sylvester on trumpet and other area musicians.
Children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa and will receive a book as a gift. Everyone is invited.
Choir concert
WEST PARIS — West Paris Community Choir will present “The Love of God at Christmas” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at the West Paris Baptist Church on Church Street. The concert, under the direction of Jenny Randolph, is free but a love offering will be taken to pay for music. All are invited.
A Christmas Eve program will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, at the West Paris Baptist Church. The evening will feature music, readings, candle lighting and a short message. All are invited.
A New Year’s Eve program at West Paris Baptist Church will begin at 8 p.m. with a potluck dinner. There will be music, games and a movie.
Historical society
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will hold its Christmas meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Norman and Elaine Emory’s home on High Street, across from the Tyner’s and next door to the Wayne Penley’s.
Attendees should bring a present worth no more than $5 for a person of their same sex and a small plate of desserts.

Winter concert
BETHEL — The 14th annual Telstar Music Department Winter Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the Helen Berry Auditorium at Telstar High School.
There will be performances by the high school chorus and concert band, the middle school chorus and band, along with a solo performance featuring Emily Bellinger, who was recently accepted into the Maine All State Vocal Festival.
Admission is free but donations are always greatly appreciated. All donations collected will go towards student end of the year awards.
