Christmas at Thrifty shop

PARIS — Christmas clothing and items will be available beginning Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Thrifty Gift Shop. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday until Christmas.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Christmas program and the thrift shop hours. Also, donations are welcome.

Legion dances

PARIS — Dances will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, Dec. 2 and 9, and Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Legion Hall. Music will be provided by Jones Dance Band.

The cost is $5.

Estate sale

FRYEBURG — A Lovell estate sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Sale will include quality collectibles, Dept 56 villages, Byers Choice carolers, Annalee dolls, Impossible Dreams, Lenox figurines and lots of traditional decorations.

Basso family benefit

PARIS — On Nov. 6, Josh and Kristy Basso, their four sons and one daughter of West Paris lost their home due to fire. The Oxford Hills Viking Football Team will sponsor a spaghetti dinner benefit from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. All are welcome. Donations accepted.
