RUMFORD — Donna Lee, 82, of Weld, died early Monday, Nov. 28, at the Rumford Community Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She had been a patient at the Rumford Community Home for 2 and-a-half years.

She was born Nov. 7, 1929, in East Livermore, a daughter of Ozem and Hattie (McKay) Wagner. She attended schools in East Livermore and Livermore Falls, graduating from Livermore Falls High School.

On May 20, 1950, she married Lawrence “Rusty” Lee of Weld at the Nazarene Church in Livermore Falls and they made their home in Jay.

Donna worked at the Winthrop Woolen Mill and later in the Jay school lunch program for 10 years.

She was a former member of the Jay Baptist Church and was active in their choir. In her retirement, after she and her husband moved to Weld, she was also active in the Weld Historical Society and other town projects.

She enjoyed winters in Florida, with Rusty and singing in various church and community choirs.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Rusty of Weld; two sisters, Doris Chandler and Edith Preston, both of Jay.

She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Howard, Josh, Wilfred, Clarence and Arthur Wagner, Carrie Conrad, Lottie Greenleaf, Ruth Warren and Arlene Karkos.
