PORTLAND — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine will host the third annual Kids & Claws Welcome Back to Maine Dinner for the Maine Red Claws Friday, Nov. 18, at the Portland Expo.

The dinner will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will be the first opportunity for fans to meet this year’s Maine Red Claws team. The 15 players currently in training camp are expected to be in attendance, along with head coach Dave Leitao, assistant coach Donyell Marshall, members of the Lady Red Claws dance team, team mascot Crusher and Red Claws on-court entertainer “JG.”

Fans will have the opportunity to talk to the players, take photos and shoot around with them on the team’s parquet floor prior to dinner. There will also be face-painting for kids. The players and coaches will be publicly introduced and escorted to the podium by members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, with all proceeds benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine. Tickets are limited and may be reserved by contacting 874-1069 or cgregorie@bgcmaine.org.
