MINOT — Jackie Rybeck of Minot has written a children’s book about Loki, the Littlest Elf, who dreams of becoming a helper at Santa’s secret village in the North Pole.

While his Mumma builds toys in the workshop, Loki falls asleep in one of the dollhouses. Waking up, he finds himself soaring through the sky in the enchanted sleigh full of toys. While on this journey, he makes new friends and discovers the love of Christmas firsthand.

Rybeck is a freelance writer for the Sun Journal and Advertiser Democrat.
