Church supper

NORWAY — A free supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at the Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St. All are invited to a dinner of shepherd’s pie, veggies and desserts.

AARP to meet

PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet on Monday, Nov. 21, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street. A pork chop dinner will be served for $6.50. Reservations are required by calling Ruth at 744-9069 no later than Friday, Nov. 18.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. It will be the last opportunity to donate to the Christmas for Kids Project. The meeting will be followed by a presentation by Civil War re-enacters, Marcia and Dick Cylik.

Hunter’s breakfast

PARIS — The Norway-Paris Lions Club will hold the annual hunters breakfast from 5 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Deering Methodist Church, corner of Main and Church streets.

The menu consists of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries and beverages. Donations will help support local Lions projects.

Food pantry open

WEST PARIS — The Neighborhood Niche Food Pantry will be open from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at West Paris Baptist Church, 15 Church St. West Paris residents are invited to visit once a month.

The pantry is open from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Wednesday and from noon to 2 p.m. the third Saturday of each month. For information, contact Pastor Scott Randolph at 376-6854.
