FARMINGTON — The Farmington Ski Club will host its 29th annual ski sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 5, at Mt. Blue Middle School, Middle Street.

The club expects to have more than 2,500 items, including downhill and cross country skis and boots, snowboards, poles, helmets, clothing and other winter recreation items. In addition, there will be four ski shops with new equipment.

There will be volunteers from the club to help parents properly fit equipment.

Used equipment can be dropped off for consignment at the high school from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4. The fees are 50 cents per item put in the sale. If the item sells, the ski club retains 15 percent of the sale price. There will be volunteers to help tag and inventory the equipment dropped off.

During the sale, the club is offering a one-day sale on club membership and season passes to Titcomb Mountain. Individuals can receive $10 off per person for alpine or combined season passes and $5 off per person for Nordic season passes.

Club membership benefits include discounts for children’s programs at Titcomb Mountain, discounts for Titcomb Mountain day tickets, $10 anytime discount for full-day tickets at Saddleback Mountain and discounts at many Maine ski areas.
