Three-year-old Cassius Thibeault of Oxford was one of hundreds of children participating in the 7th annual annual trick-or-treat event at Main Street businesses in downtown Norway on Friday afternoon. Cassius was dressed as a police lieutenant. A number of characters including Oakie, Newbie, Smokey Bear, Sparky, Cat In The Hat, Samantha The Skunk, Mr. Pizza, Baxter, were on hand to greet children as well as refreshments and games provided by local businesses. The event is sponsored by the Norway Recreation Department, Downtown Norway and the Norway Fire Department.
Seven-month-old twin brothers Camden, left, and Dawson Tirrell, of Hebron were taking in the sights as bumblebees in their stroller during Friday afternoon’s seventh annual Halloween trick-or-treat walk on Main Street in Norway. Hundreds of children from throughout the Oxford Hills showed up for the annual event in which local businesses open their doors for treats. There were refreshments and games sponsored by local businesses. The event is sponsored by the Norway Recreation Department, Downtown Norway and the Norway Fire Department.
