WALES — Adults who wish to earn credits through a combination of classes and home study may choose to attend Oak Hill Adult Education classes. Credits earned are added to those earned in high school.
Credits may be awarded for military service, work and volunteer services. Courses taken for high school diploma credit are free. GED testing and course work are offered simultaneously from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
There are also a few enrichment courses being offered as follows:
Adriane Kramer will offer “Girl Power Fitness” from 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesday, Oct. 17 to Dec. 19, at Andy Valley Gymnastics, 74 Westminster St., Lewiston. One day of classes a week is $50; two days, $80.
Learn the basics beginning of computers and continue into several common programs that are used with instructor Josie French from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays for six weeks. Fee is $40.
Microsoft Office program classes will be offered by French from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays. Fee is $45.
