JAY — The 15th annual ATV Run will take place rain or shine Saturday, Sept. 24. Participants will meet at McDonald’s parking lot in Jay at 7:30 a.m. or at the end of the Whistle Stop Trail on the Town Farm Road in Farmington at 9 a.m.
Riders are asked to bring a new toy (protected for dust) or cash donation. All toys will be distributed locally by Western Maine Community Action.
The run is hosted by Western Maine ATV Club, Canton Trail Riders, Mountain View ATV Club and Brettuns Wheelers ATV Club.
There will be raffles and 50/50, Santa’s fun tickets for $5 each, a free barbecue cooked by the Boy Scouts, business displays, and hot coffee and donuts for sale.
Everyone must register between 8-9:45, meal tickets will be handed out and raffles will be sold at that time. The group will leave Farmington at 10 to ride to Canton and leave the toys, then on to Jay to have a barbecue. Raffle winners will be announced in Jay.
For everyone’s safety stay together as a group and no horseplay. By law, anyone under 18 must wear helmets.
