CARRABASSETT VALLEY— Central Maine Festivals, the company that presents the annual Central Maine Brew Festival in Augusta, will host the first Sugarloaf Brews and Blues Festival on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Featured will be the latest offerings from as many as 15 Maine micro-breweries, food on the barbecue and live music by the Pat Pepin Blues Band and the Blues Prophets.
Pepin, a Maine singer and saxophonist, has toured the United States, performing at numerous festivals and venues. She has released three albums and is now touring in support of her latest release, “In It For The Long Haul.”
The festival will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at Sugarloaf’s outdoor center.
With the price of admission, each guest will receive 12 four-ounce beer tastings, a souvenir beer-tasting glass and a raffle ticket. Tickets, $25, are available at www.centralmainebrews.com.
