WILTON — The Tyngtown Club will hold the second annual golf tournament Tyngtown Tee Time fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Wilson Lake Country Club. This will be a scrambles format with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The cost of $40 per player includes a pulled pork sandwich lunch. Carts will be extra. Non-golfers are invited for lunch with a reservation for a cost of $10. To reserve, call 645-4443. Live music will be provided during lunch.

This year each hole of the golf course will be dedicated to the memory of nine Tyngtown members for their dedication and friendship to the club. Family members, club members and businesses will sponsor the memorials.

Contests, raffles and prizes will be held.

The tournament benefits the Wilton Library, Wilton Early Childhood Center, the summer downtown flower boxes and scholarships.
