Three flower arrangements have been placed on the side of Routes 2 and 27 in Farmington near where 12-year-old Tess Meisel of Westport, Conn., died Wednesday in an accident. The van she and fellow campers and a counselor from Camp Jewell YMCA in Connecticut were riding in was hit by a tractor-trailer. One of the arrangements, center, has a big yellow ribbon on it with the words “Thank you” with a card on it saying “The Meisel Family.” The one to the left, from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in Farmington, which is across the street from the accident site, has a picture of Tess and a poem about an angel. The third has a little white teddy bear on it.
