BETHEL — The Mahoosuc Community Band will hold its end-of-the-summer concert at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at the Gould Academy Bingham Auditorium.

New players have been added for the summer. Several young people from Telstar High School and Gould Academy will play instruments and join in for the final concert of the season.

Refreshments will be served after the concert. Donations will be accepted to help provide music for the band.

The Mahoosuc Community Band continues to provide music for the people of the surrounding area and encourages participation at many levels, from students who want to advance their skills to grandparents who love to play music.

Anyone interested in joining the band during practice is invited. Rehearsals for the fall will start at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in the basement of the West Parish Congregational Church.
