PARIS — Selectmen are set to sign the Special Town Meeting warrant for the PACE Ordinance at Monday’s meeting. The special meeting would take place on August 8.

A resident has requested the town pass an ordinance allowing herself and others to access a federal loan to make energy efficiency upgrades.

For a resident to use the Property Assessed Clean Energy program administered by Efficiency Maine, the town where he or she lives must pass the PACE ordinance, according to an April 2010 law.

The issue was tabled at the most recent board meeting.

Also on Monday’s agenda is an engineering discussion on the Fire Station, training and education for selectmen, scheduling of workshops for selectmen, and discussion on reappointing Gerald Samson as the town’s assessor.

Selectman Ted Kurtz will also give a report on the Soule Trust and Selectman Jean Smart will give a wind-power seminar report.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Monday at the Paris Town Office.
