The Franklin County Extension Homemakers met at Trinity United Methodist Church for a community workshop making clothing cover-ups for three nursing home. Four Extension Homemakers groups attended including Clearwater, Neighborhood, Strong and Wilton Day Extension. The committee members, Barbara Hathaway, FCEH president; Pat Starbird, FCEH past president, and Becky Tylor, helped organize the project. Members donated cloth, brought six sewing machines and helped cut material, sew and press the finished item. Sixty-two cover-ups have been created and will be distributed.
