AUBURN — Barbara Randall of Auburn is this year’s recipient of the Alpha Psi State Achievement Award from Alpha Psi State, Delta Kappa Gamma.
Randall taught English at Edward Little High School and was dean of women at Bates College until retirement. She has traveled in the Middle East, Africa and all over Europe.
She is a member of the Women’s Literary Union and does a lot of volunteer work in the Twin Cities.
Since 1989, Alpha Psi State, Delta Kappa Gamma, has presented an annual Achievement Award to one of its members.
Randall has held a lifetime membership in Delta Kappa Gamma and has served as an officer, a chairman or member of a committee at the chapter, state, and international levels of the society. She has also made outstanding contributions to education outside of Delta Kappa Gamma which promote its purposes.
Randall inspires and motivates with her enthusiasm for involvement, the society said. She leads by example, always shows her support for others, and respected and adored by her Alpha Psi sisters.
