LIVERMORE — Registration for the Treat Memorial Library summer reading program “Read S’more Books” has officially closed, but the fun has just begun. The next Reading Camp is Thursday, June 30, with Teresa T. The second of the library’s contests, “Name the State Park,” runs until July 9. Three winners will be picked.
Anyone attending the summer reading program “sleep under” on July 21 needs to register. Participants are asked to save the cardboard tubes from paper towels to use for a craft project.
The Book Lover’s Cafe meets the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Join other avid readers to discuss whatever books each has read.
A new brick planter has been added to the front of the library. The half barrels that have served so well are available for sale at $10 each. Photos of the barrels may be seen on the library’s Facebook page. Let the Librarian know if you wish to purchase one or all.
Don’t forget the new DVD and CD cleaning and repair service for $1 per disc. Discs must be left overnight; the library cannot guarantee success every time.
The library will be closed Tuesday, July 5.
