Edward Little’s Class of 1951 anticipates a gathering of some 100 alumni and guests at its Sunday, June 26, 60th reunion to be held at Lost Valley, according to reunion chairperson Barbara Haley Bouchard. A full day is scheduled with continental breakfast at 11 a.m. followed by class photos at noon. The business meeting will be held at 2 p.m. with class president Richard Gammon chairing the session which will include the treasurer’s report by Romeo Michaud as well as election of the 65th reunion committee. An update on the Don Gay Scholarship Fund will be given, including details on the latest recipient, Nathan Fairchild, to be presented by fund co-chairman Ralph “Woody” Hodgkins. Featured speaker for the day will be current EL principal James Miller, who will speak on the status of the high school and also refer to the pending demolition of the original wing of the Academy Street school which the Class of 1951 attended. The day will conclude with dinner at 3 p.m. and will be preceded by acknowledging classmates no longer with us under the direction of Frank Berry.
