FARMINGTON — The Farmington Public Library summer reading program will run from June 17 through Aug. 4. It is open to children of all ages. 

There will be prizes as incentives to keep reading, including donations from Gifford’s Ice Cream, Pizza Hut, Mr. Paperback, Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers and Narrow Gauge Cinemas.

Preschool story hours are Fridays at 10:15 a.m. Baby Rhymes is held at 10:15 each Wednesday. 

A valid library card is required to borrow materials. Those without a library card may can still sign up for the program and read books at the library. Borrowing privileges are free to Farmington residents. Industry residents are reimbursed for nonresident fees at the town office. All others pay $25 per household annually.
