HALLOWELL — Auditions are set for Gaslight Theater’s production of the Agatha Christie thriller “And Then There Were None,” directed by George Dunn.

Auditions will be at Hallowell City Hall, 1 Winthrop St., Hallowell at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 12, and at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 14.

On a remote, isolated island, 10 people begin to die, one by one. Their deaths appear to mimic a nursery rhyme that describes how each of 10 soldiers meets his death, until there are none.

There is no way for any of them to flee the island, so they set about trying to determine who the hidden host — and murderer — might be, and where he might be hiding. But the deaths continue, until . . .

Excellent parts are available for 11 actors, including ingenious death scenes.

Performances of “And There There Were None” will be held at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 26 and 27, and Sept. 1 – 3. A matinee is set for  2 p.m. on Aug. 28.
