LIVERMORE FALLS — Regional School Unit 73 directors will meet Tuesday to consider Superintendent Bob Wall’s recommendations of coaches for fall and winter sports for the 2011-12 school year.
The coaches will be leading combined sports teams of Spruce Mountain High School’s campuses of Jay and Livermore Falls. The teams will play in Class B in the Mountain Valley Conference for the coming school year.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. May 31 in the board room of the Cedar Street Learning Center, where the Central Office is located.
School directors will also choose negotiators for the new school board. Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls are combining into one school system July 1.
The superintendent is recommending that Rosie Richmond fill the position of high school fall cheering coach; Mark Bonnevie, high school football coach; Jon Blasdell, girls varsity high school soccer coach; Bill Acritelli, boys high school varsity soccer coach; Ray Chase, co-ed cross country coach; Julia Parker, one-half of the position of varsity field hockey coach; and Jane DiPompo, one-half of the position of varsity field hockey coach.
Parker and DiPompo are also each being recommended to fill half of the position of junior varsity field hockey coach.
Also, Rosie Richmond is to fill one-half of the position of high school winter cheering coach; Kellee Fortier to fill one-half of the position of high school winter cheering coach; Kenny Jacques to fill the position of high school alpine ski coach; Bill Acritelli to fill the position of high school Nordic ski coach; and Gavin Kane to fill the position of high school girls varsity basketball coach.
