NORWAY — The first of three gardening-related workshops will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Alan Day Community Garden, off from Whitman and Maple streets.

“Mapping your Property” will be led by Alex Miller. Creating a simple map of your land is a first step toward designing organic gardens and edible landscapes. Participants will learn how permaculture concepts can be applied to designing and growing organic gardens and learn ways in which kitchen and yard waste can be turned into valuable soil conditioner.
