Community Credit Union of Lewiston and Auburn recently presented SeniorsPlus with a $600 check for its Meals on Wheels program. The program delivers a balanced meal to seniors who are homebound, unable to prepare meals and have no help to prepare meals. Last year, the Meals on Wheels program at SeniorsPlus delivered more than 85,000 meals, allowing some seniors to avoid moving to a nursing home. From left are Jennifer Hogan, marketing/business development director for Community Credit Union; Connie Jones, director of community services for SeniorsPlus, and Diane Dyer, vice president of lending for Community Credit Union.
