FARMINGTON — A Franklin County grand jury indicted a local man and a woman from Strong on Thursday on felony robbery charges in connection to an armed robbery Dec. 21, 2010, at The Big Apple on Farmington Falls Road.
Miguel Visuano III, 26, who has been serving time in a state prison on an unrelated charge and not previously charged in the robbery case, is accused of going into The Big Apple at about 5:52 p.m. Dec. 21 and robbing the store while wielding a small bat that had a chain attached to the end of the bat, a Farmington police affidavit said. Visuano is accused of running out of the store with money and two cartons of cigarettes.
Marcia Tracy, 27, was previously arrested on a charge of robbery in connection to the case on March 3. She is accused of driving the getaway Jeep, according to the affidavit.
The court ordered Tracy in late March to have no contact with Visuano.
Tips from community members helped lead Farmington police Detective Marc Bowering to Tracy and Visuano, according to court documents.
