NEW GLOUCESTER —  Sabbathday Lake Grange No. 365 will hold an open house Friday, May 13, to honor the Community Auxiliary Food Pantry of the First Congregational Church of Gray.

The pantry has been chosen as this year’s recipient of the Community Citizen Award.

The pantry has been in operation for two years and serves the towns of Gray and New Gloucester, and anyone else needing assistance.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be open to the public. The Grange will collect items for the pantry and people may bring items to the meeting. Light refreshments will be served after the presentation.

The Grange hall is on Sabbathday Road, just off Route 26 at the lake.

Chicken pies are available while supplies last. They are $8 each or $7.50 for two or more. To place an order and arrange pickup please call Norma at 998-2586 or e-mail Steven at Granger04071@aol.com.
