- Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 of St. Rose of Lima in Jay held the annual Mardi Gras on March 8. The hall was decorated with bright masks and there were beads on the tables. Members could bring a spouse or a friend to the supper of spaghetti and meat sauce, homemade rolls, cake and ice cream. Music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Bing Crosby.
