FARMINGTON — The annual Spring Job Fair, hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington Career Services, takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in the hallway and North Dining Hall of Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington.

The event is free and open to the public.

An annual event for more than 15 years, this year’s fair will feature recruiting representatives from more than 25 businesses, nonprofit and government organizations, summer camps and learning centers.

Representatives will be on campus to hire for full-time and part-time career positions, seasonal jobs and internships. Businesses represented will include those focusing on career advising, community and mental health programs, construction, recreation sports, hospitality services, summer camps and more.

In case of cancellation for weather conditions, the Spring Job Fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the same location.

Next in the series of employment fairs on the UMF campus will be the annual Education Job Fair from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the North Dining Hall in the UMF Olsen Student Center.
