Incident report statistics

Between 7 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, Lewiston police responded to 812 calls for service. Of those, 209 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief

A vehicle parked in the Oak Street Parking Garage at 1 Oak St. had its rear windshield broken sometime prior to 8 p.m. on Jan. 6. The door lock and ignition had also been tampered with.

A citizen driving past 103 Adams Ave. on Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. had a vehicle window broken by someone hiding nearby.

Gladu Roofing at 487 Oxford St. was tagged with graffiti several times prior to 2 p.m. on Jan. 5.

Burglaries

A storage shed at Grimmell’s at 50 River Road was burglarized between noon on Dec. 31 and 6 a.m. on Jan. 3. Four 1,000-watt Honda generators, a welder and a toolbox full of wrenches and sockets were taken.

An apartment at 73.5 Knox St. was burglarized between 3:40 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Jan. 1. A Sanyo digital camera was taken. Entry was gained via an unlocked door.

Motor vehicle burglaries

A truck parked at Oxford Networks at 411 Lisbon St. had a Honda 3000-watt generator taken from its bed sometime during the previous week.

Scott Boody, 45, was charged with four counts of motor vehicle burglary and one count of burglary on Jan. 6 at his apartment in South Portland in connection with burglaries of four vehicles at The Gym on Main Street as well as an office at Central Maine Medical Center. Numerous IDs and credit cards were taken. Several of the credit cards were used to make purchases at local retailers.

Operating under the influence

Maiya Perez, 45, was charged with operating under the influence on Jan. 1 at 12:32 a.m. at the corner of Pine and Shawmut streets.

Michael Bailey, 44, was charged with operating under the influence and operating without a license on Jan. 7 at 12:26 a.m. at the corner of Walnut  and Pierce streets.

Wanted

Scott Moody, 35, is wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for probation violation.

Ashley Johnson, 26, is wanted on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating after suspension.

Kyle Farrell, 19, is wanted on a warrant charging probation violation.
