Outlook: This year’s team has a lot of talent and depth at every position. Goaltending will be a definite strength and scoring goals should not be an issue. The defensive corps is solid, and there is a lot of depth there as well. Size, strength, maturity, and speed are assets this team needs to utilize to be successful. Hebron should be extremely competitive.
Coach’s comment: “With 18 newcomers on the team this year, how quickly we make adjustments to the style of play and how quickly we can come together as a cohesive unit will determine how successful we can be. There is no shortage of talent at every position, so we definitely have the depth to be a contender. We understand the importance of showing up to the rink every day with the desire to be better than we were the day before. I have a lot of confidence in our leadership. The new players have shown a lot of maturity and I believe they understand what it is going to take. Team chemistry will have to be our main ingredient if we are to be successful and accomplish the goals we have set forth for ourselves.” – Matt Plante
