FARMINGTON — The Farmington Historical Society has announced its sixth annual holiday wreath sale. The balsam wreaths have sold out in the past few years, so early orders are encouraged.
Several items have been added this year including barn wreaths, a 36-inch balsam wreath decorated with bow, cones and red berries for $38; a mantel piece, which is 28 inches of mixed greens, red berries and cones for $23; balsam garland in 30-feet lengths at $32; and a window or door arch of mixed greens and cones for $24.
The standard 24-inch wreath is double sided and decorated with a quality six-loop bow in a choice of color, red, brick or burgundy, with berries and white tipped cones. The wreaths are fresh and fragrant. Shipping within the continental U.S. is $15.
The sale will take place at the Titcomb House, home of the Farmington Historical Society’s museum, on Academy Street on Saturday, Nov. 27, and Chester Greenwood Day, Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Special orders for the large wreaths, mantle pieces, garland and window arches much be ordered and prepaid by Wednesday, Nov. 17. All proceeds will go to supporting the historical society’s collection, the Titcomb House and North Church renovations.
