An 8- by 16-foot mural installed on the side of the Downeast Energy building in Lisbon Falls depicts a 1930s downtown scene in Lisbon Falls. It was replicated by volunteer artists from a Frank Gross painting.
Artist Jen Fox, left, and Peggy Jergens, center, visit with fellow artist Frank Gross of Lisbon Falls during a celebration hosted by the Lisbon Revitalization Design Committee and Downeast Energy for a mural unveiling. Fox was the lead artist in the replication of an 8- by 16-foot mural of Gross’ painting of a 1930s Lisbon Falls scene. The community turned out Friday for the mural installation on the side of the Downeast Energy building.
