LEWISTON — The power is out at Lewiston Middle School and students have been sitting in classrooms without electricy this morning.

The power went out around 7:30 a.m. Central Maine Power is on the scene. The cause of the outage is not yet known.

The school has not moved students out of their homerooms since they arrived at school. Parents have been called and are taking students home.
