Lewiston police hope to avoid the annual deluge of complaints about the start of the city’s winter parking ban by giving at least two days notice that motorists who park vehicles on city streets must find other spots.
Instead of just ticketing cars parked on city streets beginning at 12:01 a.m. Friday, LPD will be placing notices under the windshield wipers of any vehicles found parked on the street on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
