SOUTH PORTLAND — Matt Hammond scored at 6:50 of the second overtime to lift Greater Portland Christian to a 2-1 victory over Buckfield in the Western Class D boys’ soccer quarterfinals on Wednesday.
After a scoreless first half, fourth-ranked Greater Portland struck first on Sam Whiting’s goal at at the 32 minute mark. The No. 5 Bucks (7-5-1) tied the game with 40 seconds remaining in regulation when Devin Carlile converted a Cam Allen direct kick.
Kasey Robertson made nine saves in goal for Buckfield. Jacob Rudolph was credited with nine saves.
Yarmouth 3, Oak Hill 0
YARMOUTH — Pau Molero scored a pair of goals to lead top-ranked Yarmouth to a 3-0 triumph over No. 8 Oak Hill in the quarterfinals of the Western Class B boys’ soccer playoffsWednesday.
Luke Pierce also scored to ropund out the scoring.
Yarmouth enjoyed a 19-3 advantage in shots. Tyler Pelletier stopped 14 shots for Oak Hill, while Caleb Knaub had two saves.

Hebron 2, Tilton 2
TILTON, N.H. — Haley Grimmer sdcored with 2:09 rmaining in regulation to help Hebron earn a 2-2 tie against Tilton.
Maggie Lane scored the only goal in the first half in the opening two minutes to give Hebron a 1-0 lead at halftime. Amber Aaskov assisted on the play.
Tilton scored the first twos of the second half before Grimmer tied it.
Mariah Mosher made 11 saves for Hebron.
