Church concert

FARMINGTON — A concert will be held for the “Seasons” CD release at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road.

Spooky fun

WEST PARIS — West Paris Boy Scouts will sponsor a night of “spooktacular family fun” from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Agnes Gray Elementary School.

There will be a spook house, games, face painting, crafts, contests and hot food and baked goods for sale. Admission is free. Cost for the spook walk is $4 a person. Tickets for games and other activities will be sold separately.

Texas Hold ’em

NORWAY — The Harrison Lions Club will host a Texas Hold ’em tournament on Saturday, Oct. 23, at Charlie’s Entertainment Center, 246 Main St. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will run from 1 to 6 p.m.

The entry fee is $55. A cash bar with food and refreshments will be available.

Craft fair

WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church, Main Street, will have a craft fair and food sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 23. There will also be white elephant tables.

Book sale

WEST PARIS — The Friends of the West Paris Library will sponsor their annual buck-a-bag book sale from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Historical Society, across the street from the library.

There will be children’s, adult, young adult, fiction and nonfiction titles. There will also be DVDs and audio books. Hot and cold drinks and muffins will be available. For more information, call the library at 674-2004.

Class luncheon

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1954 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Covered Wagon restaurant. Members and guests are welcome.

Haunted walks

RUMFORD — Haunted walks will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, Oct. 21 to 23 and Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 27 and 28, at 320 Isthmus Road.

Snacks and a warm drink will be available after the walk. The cost is $3, with all proceeds going to the River Valley Relay For Life through the Cancer Crusaders team.
