JAY — A presentation on “Why Have an Estate Plan?” will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Androscoggin Bank Community Room.
Erin Collins, vice president and trust officer of Androscoggin Bank, has more than 11 years of experience specializing in the areas of trust administration, estate planning and settlement, planned giving and financial planning, including business development and managing client relationships.
Collins will be speaking on why a person should have a will, including a living will, the subject of estate planning, and how to protect your assets after you have passed.
She will also offer information on where to go for a list of resources. Local attorney Ron Aseltine, who specializes in estate planning, will answer questions about wills, estates and trusts. This informational seminar is free and open to the public.
