TURNER — On Sunday, Oct. 17, nationally acclaimed children’s book author Jacqueline Briggs Martin will return to her native town to discuss the research and writing of her latest book, “The Chiru of High Tibet.”
Martin won the Caldecott Award in 1999 for her book “Snowflake Bentley,” illustrated by Mary Azarian.
She will be at the Leavitt Institute Building, from which she graduated, at 2:30 p.m.
