AUBURN — Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity has announced that applications are being accepted from families or individuals living in Androscoggin County who are unable to acquire a mortgage loan for a home due to low income.

The orgranization will build a home in Lewiston for the next family and is looking to work with an individual or family to build their own home and to provide a no interest rate mortgage based on the cost of building that home.

Those interested in applying may call Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity at 786-2598 to see if they qualify. If the basic requirements are met, an application will be mailed, which must be returned to Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity no later than Nov. 15.
