According to police, the crash occurred at about 2:20 p.m. The driver of the 2002 Dodge Neon, Corey Merrill, middle, was traveling in the right hand lane on the one-way street when he failed to yield to a turning truck driven by Wayne Berube of Randolph and owned by Kris-Way Truck Leasing Inc., of South Portland. Merrill’s car hit a utility pole and shot across the street, coming to a stop next to the building.
