WINTHROP — Ryan Conant ran for three touchdowns in the first quarter and freshman Zach Glazier added three scoring runs of his own as Winthrop cruised to a 55-0 win over Sacopee Valley in a Class C Campbell Conference in Friday night football action.

Conant rumbled for a 40-yard score on just the second play of the game. He then tacked on runs of 32 and 26 yards to put the Ramblers (3-0) up 20-0 after the first quarter. Glazier added touchdowns of seven and 50 yards in the second quarter, sandwiched around a 7-yard run by Mike

Geschwind.

The Ramblers, who put the ball in the air just once, picked up touchdowns of 1-yard by Danny Moody and another 50-yard burst by Glazier to complete the scoring in the third quarter.

Sacopee Valley falls to 0-3.
