Jolene Lovejoy does wonderful work as a volunteer to many worthwhile organizations. She has found her niche.

As a selectwoman in the past, she fell victim to what befalls many a politician: a sense of power and a determination to have things her way. She caused chaos and cost taxpayers unnecessary legal fees. Useless would not be a good description of her time on the board; she was awful.

On Election Day, voters should remember and learn from the past and keep Lovejoy where she does best — as a volunteer — and far away from public office.
